Saturday, October 27th is a big day for The Green Machine and Jerry’s Hardware in Edina. For the first-time ever, two of our award-winning robots will make a special, one-day appearance at Jerry’s Do-it Best Hardware, 5115 Vernon Avenue S., Edina. We will be there the entire day, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. These competition robots are actually quite family and kid-friendly, it’s the perfect opportunity to get up-close and really see how our robots are built. You will also have a chance to see the robots drive, shoot basketballs, hang inner tubes, and do its special robot hand-shake. This day is also a big fundraiser for The Green Machine. We will have our famous Roborags available for purchase, as well as our popular winking Gear Eye keychains. Even better, we are selling the new FIRST e-watt LED light bulbs, which can replace regular 40-watt and 60-watt bulbs in many lighting fixtures. By buying these LED Light Bulbs, your donations will directly support our FIRST Robotics team by enabling us to attend the competitions and purchase the necessary tools, parts, and materials for our 2013 season.
