As the days and hours wind down to the start of the FIRST Championships in St. Louis, Team 1816 would like to take a moment to thank all of our generous and gracious sponsors. Without the help of our sponsors, our team would not have been able to participate in the two Minnesota regionals. All of our sponsors, large and small, make a lasting impact on not only the team, but also the FIRST community. Money from our sponsors helps not only fund our regional events and Championship events, but also helps fund other FIRST teams as well through spare parts, materials and equipment. At Championships this year, The Green Machine will be playing in the Curie Division along with two other Minnesota teams. We will be visiting teams in the division to learn about how they are helping to spread the mission of FIRST. One lucky team will win a “be FIRST” banner to hang in their pit! Be sure to also say hello to the 2013 be FIRST regional winners attending Championships: Teams 525 SwartDogs, 2052 KnightKrawler, 111 Wildstang and 71 Team Hammond. Along with 3883 Data Bits, 2181 ROBO TECH, these teams are like us, very enthusiastic about FIRST, outreach and STEM. We look forward to welcoming you to our pit and hope you will cheer us on!
