Team 1816—The Green Machine is pleased to announce that it will be a featured presenter at the Edina Education Fund’s “Show & Tell” luncheon on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Church of St. Patrick in Edina. The Edina Education Fund’s annual luncheon showcases innovative courses and student activities supported by the Education Fund, giving members of the community a chance to meet students and teachers and learn more about the many exciting student activities on offer in the Edina School District. Each year, representatives from one or two student activities are invited to speak at the luncheon, and this year, one of these invitations went to Team 1816! The Green Machine is the grateful recipient of Education Fund support, including two generous seed grants that helped get the team up and running 10 years ago. We look forward to introducing our team, conducting a robot demonstration and advocating for STEM education at this special event. Several hundred people are expected to attend the luncheon, making this a great opportunity for The Green Machine to spread the word about FIRSTRobotics.
