Considering doing science, technology, engineering, or math in college and beyond? If so, you’re in luck, because Edina’s FIRST Robotics Team, The Green Machine, is hosting our third annual STEM Career Night on Monday, November 2. If you’re interested in learning what it means to have a career in STEM, be sure to come to this event! The wide range of careers represented includes civil engineers, surgeons, university professors, and many more — including one of Edina High School’s own teachers. The event will include presentations by STEM professionals in Fick Auditorium, in addition to a Career Fair where students can engage in one-on-one conversations with the professionals who interest them. STEM covers a variety of unique careers, and we hope you take this chance to discover some of them in depth. Anyone is welcome to attend, but the event’s primary audience is middle and high school students. Admission is free for everyone. The Career Fair will start at 5:30 PM in the Commons and continue until 8:30 PM; presentations will start at 6:30 PM in Fick Auditorium. We look forward to seeing you there!
