We’re still trying to comprehend this ourselves, but FRC teams are already nearing the halfway point of build season! The CAD and Control Systems & Programming subteams have been immersed in weeks of discussion and prototyping, and have turned over to the 1816 builders plans to assemble our 2016 robot. The FIRSTSTRONGHOLD designs have kept our business and marketing subteams busy, too, with new T-shirts and a Team Standard in the works. Despite the frenzy of build, 1816s outreach commitments continue. On Saturday, February 6th, we will be at the MN Children’s Museum for robot demonstrations and STEM activities. With much of the museum under renovation, we’ll be in The Lodge (on the fifth floor of the Children’s Museum). Then, join us on Feb. 20, noon to 2 pm, at Edina High School for our annual Open House and the reveal of our 2016 robot, Zenith!
