About the Robot:
- Collector: The same mechanism picks up both cones and cubes from the human player station. Constructed out of Lexan (a polycarbonate material) to withstand heavy force,
- Elevator Pivoting Mechanism: Runs on two Falcon 500 motors in a 250:1 gear reduction custom gear box, which permits more than 90 degrees of rotation. Two springs provide a counterweight to allow for faster pivoting speed.
- Elevator: Four stages that move in a telescoping fashion
- Swerve Drive Drivetrain: permits cross-field travel in 16.3 ft/sec. Interchangeable blue or black nitrile tread to optimize each match strategy and performance.
