Attention Edina High School sophomores and juniors:
Edina’s award-winning FIRST Robotics Team 1816, The Green Machine, needs you for the 2015-16 season! Our team has a place for you, whether you’re an aspiring engineer, programmer, businessperson, or artist. Be sure to stop by our table at the Activities Fair on Thursday September 10th to meet members of our team, and then come to our Team meeting that same night in room 220 (the PLTW room) at 6:30 PM.
Every year, our team builds a robot in six weeks to compete in regional tournaments. If we do well enough, we qualify for the Minnesota State High School League Robotics Championship and the FIRST World Championship. When it’s not build or competition season, The Green Machine recruits sponsors, hosts community outreach events, and mentors FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST LEGO League and Jr FIRST LEGO League teams.
