Team 1816-The Green Machine invites all who are interested to join the team on Saturday, January 31st from noon to two for our annual build-season SPARK Day – Sponsors & Parents Appreciation, Recognition, and Kudos! Taking place right in the middle of the FIRSTRobotics six week build, this day will be the perfect chance for visitors to get a behind the scenes look at what building a FIRST robot is really about. At the event, guests will be able to tour the team’s computer and workshop facilities and see previous year’s robots. There will be plenty of opportunities to talk with team members about the FIRST program, and watch team members in action building the robot for this year’s FIRST Lunacy challenge. Attendees should arrive at the Valley View Middle School main entrance, 6750 Valley View Road, to get started on their tours. Refreshments will also be served at the event.
